This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our language learning product, immit, including its web app, desktop app, browser extension, and mobile app (collectively, the “Services”). We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to enhance your experience and collect analytics about the Services. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage of our website. We have configured Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled and ad personalization signals disabled. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.

Review reminders are enabled by default when you create an account; you can turn them off at any time in Settings → Email or by using the link included in every reminder. Account, security, and billing messages are necessary to operate the Services and cannot be turned off while you have an account.

  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information as follows:

  • With Service Providers: For hosting, analytics, payment processing, and customer support.
  • For Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.

4.1 Access and Correction

4.2 Data Deletion

4.3 Email Preferences

You can turn off review reminders at any time in Settings → Email or by using the link included in every reminder; no login is required to use the link. We will stop sending reminders promptly after you opt out. We do not send marketing or promotional emails without your consent. Account, security, and billing messages cannot be opted out of while you have an account.

4.4 Do Not Track

Our Services do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.

7. International Data Transfers

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers.
